I have always been driven by helping others. As a teenager I was a big brother to many foster children helped by my family, being a positive influence and role model in their lives. My desire to serve others ultimately led to becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ where I focus on helping individuals successfully plan for their retirement dreams.
Prior to joining Battaglia Associates Wealth Advisors, I was a Business Development Officer for AssetMark. I helped other financial advisors to gain an understanding of AssetMark’s investment and retirement offerings. This role required me to have a deep understanding of these offerings and their application for individual investors and businesses.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family creating memories that will last a lifetime. I am also a dog person as can be evidenced by only taking one look at the dog hairs left behind by my best friend, Millie, who is a 9 year old English Lab. I am also a Penn State Nittany Lion and Pittsburgh Steeler fan for life.
My wife Jennifer and I (and Millie) relocated to State College from Chicago in the summer of 2022 and are expecting our first child in July 2023. Jennifer also shares my passion for helping people. Not only is Jennifer a registered nurse, but she spent many years as a pediatric cancer nurse caring for children suffering from this terrible disease.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and a minor in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and hold my FINRA Series 7, 6, 63 and 65 securities registrations.
